How many guests can Terra host?

Terra can accommodate retreat groups of up to 38 guests across our 12 resort rooms and two private pool villas. For a more private and personalised experience, you can also reserve the entire resort exclusively for your group.

Can we bring our own teachers and run our own programme?

Yes. Whether you're hosting a yoga retreat, a wellness retreat or a company gathering, you're welcome to bring your own teachers, instructors and facilitators and run your own programme - or we can help design it with you. Your group can also join our daily yoga and Pilates classes through our wellness schedule.

What spaces and equipment are available?

Our bamboo yoga shala holds up to 30 participants and our reformer Pilates studio has 10 reformers - both can be reserved for private group sessions. Yoga mats, blocks, straps, a sound system and a projector are available, and other specialised equipment can be arranged on request, subject to availability. For workshops, lectures, group dinners, celebrations and evening gatherings, Hidden can also be arranged for your group.

Meals aren't included automatically - they're arranged around your group as part of your retreat package. La Terraza can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner with personalised group menus, private group dining can be arranged, and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets are catered for.

Can you help with activities, transfers and logistics?

Yes. Every retreat has a dedicated Terra contact who supports you before you arrive and throughout your stay. Working with trusted, experienced local professionals, we can coordinate surfing, breathwork, ice baths, sound healing, cooking workshops, excursions, and airport and local transfers. Activities aren't included automatically - choose the ones that suit your programme.

Can we visit before booking?

Yes. You're welcome to visit Terra, tour the spaces and meet the team before you book - no overnight stay needed. Just let us know through the enquiry form or on WhatsApp.

Terra Resort is on Kabalana Road in Ahangama, on Sri Lanka's south coast, about a five-minute walk from Kabalana Beach. Parking is available.
